When you have a Schengen visa this will allow you to travel throughout the Schengen area however once again your original port of entry needs to be identified and proven

Whilst the basic rules are similar for each country regarding tourist visas in that they must be completed in either English or that countries language, each embassy in Bangkok has its own additional requirements

For a tourist visa all applicants must show a reason to return and have a return ticket and medical insurance, most will require an interview. The fact that a sponsor may have assets etc is unlikely to 'swing' things in favour a visa being granted

Settlement visas are different for each country with language requirements becoming the norm and the emphasis on the host obtaining and proving in their native country, citizenship, tax compliance and other matters.
